DESCRIPTION:

POP E-mail: Netscape Navigator v.3.x

This page describes how to configure Netscape Navigator to access your POP e-mail box.

• Select Mail and News Preferences... from Options menu. 
  
   
   

Click on the Servers tab at the top of the dialog box.

• For Outgoing Mail Server: enter the SMTP server provided by your ISP. UNIX hosting users may enter smtp.yourdomain.com .
• For Incoming Mail Server: enter yourdomain.com.
• For POP3 User Name: enter the popID you specified when you created the POP mailbox.

  
   
   
   

• Click on the Identity tab at the top of the dialog box.
  • For Name: enter your name.
  • For Your E-mail: enter the e-mail address for the POP mailbox.
  • For Reply-to Address: enter your e-mail address.

  
  
  
   

All the other settings are optional. Choosing Netscape Mail from the Window pull-down menu will then open a box that will allow you read and send mail.
